2010 NYSPHADA Scholarship Application

NYSPHADA is proud to announce that it has made available for the first time a $1,000 scholarship that will be awarded to a deserving youth currently residing in a NYSPHADA member agency.
Any high school senior who is preparing to enter higher level learning will be eligible for this scholarship.
This scholarship will be awarded at the NYSPHADA 2010 Annual Spring Conference at Turning Stone Resort. The winner and a guest will be asked to attend a ceremony during this conference where an official announcement and award will be presented. The winner and guest will have their travel expenses paid for by NYSPHADA.
Please distribute this to your assisted families who have a graduating senior who is planning to further their education.
The scholarship due date is March 10, 2010, so please review the enclosed application material and distribute it to your families as soon as possible.
This is the initial year for this scholarship, and we anticipate that this program will grow. In the future we hope to be able to award more than one scholarship in a given year provided there is sufficient financial support. Individual donations toward this scholarship program will also be accepted with checks made payable to NYSPHADA indicating in the subject line that it is for the scholarship program.
NYSPHADA is very pleased to be able to offer this new scholarship program to our resident children who wish to further their education.
